SOLE II SOUL If the Devil was a sneakerhead, he would've had a hell of a time at Sole II Soul, no pun intended. On what looked to be a night full of clouds, cats, and dogs, the sky opened up to provide a more than picture perfect night for Orlando's first ever sneaker jam. Soles lines up and made their way to Crooked Bayou to show the rest of the world that Orlando had more up its sleeve than Magic, and that the real Heat was here in central Florida. In collaboration with Blacktop Skateshop and a myriad of sponsors ranging from Uberbot, NikeSB, Ipath, Vans, Faxion Clothing, and Vapors Magazine the idea was brought to life. Soulful sounds were delivered by DJs SPS, Rod-1, and Y-Not, and sole was provided by local heat slingers Ulises, James, Rishi, Will, Mike, Ralph, Francis, Dennis, and by some of Deepvision's own. The doors weren't even open yet, and the temperature was already rising. Heads came from around the state to show their support, and brought heat of their own ranging from OG Jordan VI's, neon Pumas, UNDFTD Highs, Bapestas, SB Pele's, and Dela Highs, which took top honors racking up the most votes for Best Kicks taking home a $100 cash prize, $100 gift certificate, and a complete skateboard. Orlando, on its first outing, has proven that the culture is alive and kicking here, and with the first stepping stone laid down it's only a matter of time before Sole II Soul makes its next appearance. *Deepvision is not affiliated with any of the companies, products
